THY THRONE OH GOD

 

TEXT: HEBREW 1:8

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.*

We need to understand the word scepter and what does it has to do with righteousness and how does the kingdom comes in and the essence of throne or crown we are all crying for.

The word scepter in the original Greek was “Shebet” which means a Rod or staff that is a mark of authority. Therefore, A scepter is a shot rod held by the kings as a sign of their authority. 

What is a throne?

Throne according to English says it an elevated seat now they are close but spiritual things cannot be interpreted with scientific and English knowledge. In the spiritual terms thrones are class of angels checking “Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”

We will discover that the throne according to the Greek word which elate from the word “thronus” and it’s assigned to king’s hence kingly power or royalty. Throne is a person because it has capacity to judge.

“And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:28

Throne don’t function without a rod called scepter which is the symbol of authority 

What makes a throne is the authority that proceed forth. 

Now hear this a chair is not a living thing but immediately there is a man who sit open it with a staff called authority it become a living soul. 

Therefore the soul of the throne is the scepter which is authority now without authority no throne, It’s just a mere seat, 

“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 

Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.” 1Peter 3:21- 22

Now 1peter 3:21- 22 makes us understand that there is a Man who has gone into heavens and is on the right hand of God.

This was where Lucifer covet but it takes a process. 

Anyone with authority or the symbol of Authority is scars where there is no scar No authority

The throne of God is a reward system for only the true Sons who has gone through the rigor of death and therefore they are rewarded with a throne.

For God to hand over his throne to a man, he must have become faithful and has been tested in all things

Lucifer said I will ascend into heavens which means there is a gate and it will never open until it saw the scars.   

                                                                         

There are criteria’s needed to ascend to the throne *Psalm 24: 4-10*

*1  Clean hands.  Vs. 4, ii Corinthians 7:1* 

*2  A pure heart i.e. soul that is not lifted up unto vanity that’s the meaning of pure heart 

When you journey to this two stage you will receive a blessing from God now not earthly blessings but eternal which is righteousness now after you have received the gift of righteousness.*

The next phase is the battle line vs. 8 The Lord strong and mighty in battle 

Which means when you receive the gift of righteousness your next phase is to face the battle to conquer unrighteousness which must be done on the cross.

In this journey, when you journey to a realm all you get is gift but there is a place that has to do with your sacrifice and service in Christ 

Let me tell you sacrifice and service is what makes a man earn the trust of God then the scepter can be released.

God don’t give people anything anyhow, there are things you receive as a babe  which is gift but when you have grown in stature you leave the realm of gift to a realm of sacrifice and service, here is where you walk worthy then you can have the Trust of God

*Ephesians 4:1. “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called”,* 

 

*Colossians 1:10. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God”;*

  

*I Thessalonians 2:12. “That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory”.*

  

The service of man in not necessarily being part of the workers in a church but service is being fruitful in every good works and increasing in the knowledge of God because you must comprehend all about God before the scepter can be handover to you

Its stages by stages 

*Luke 9:35 “And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.”*

At this stage gifts are in operations that he received but there is a stage that the scepter was handover to him

 

*II Peter 1:17. “For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.*

Now you see that at first God was pleased with Him speaking from heaven and Jesus on the earth but at this portion of the scripture we see that he receive the scepter which is the symbol of Authority He received Honour and Glory can you see that it was after he conquer 

You must be nailed to the cross to conquer unrighteousness *11cointhinans 10:4 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”*

After conquering unrighteousness then your scar will be the pass to enter 

Remember immediately Jesus resurrected he carried the blood of the saint to the father

 *John20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God”*

The blood is required as a symbol for acceptance

 

That’s why Revelation 5:6-13 says,

*6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which the seven Spirits of God are sent forth into all the earth.*  

*7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.*  

*8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.*   

*9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof:  for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;*  

*10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests:  and we shall reign on the earth.*   

*11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:  and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;*  

*12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.*   

*13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.* 

God was trying to introduced a system to us when the bible says *“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12*

The reward must come in regards to something you have done and also God is introducing a kingdom to us as a king for we are all kings and priest

*“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him” James 1:12.*

 Listen to this, when we are praying Lord I want to make heaven so I can receive the crown of life what we are actually seeking for is a throne because a mere men don’t use crown but a king and no man has a crown and will not be given a throne.

The inheritance of the Son is a kingdom which has a throne.

Ruling with God is a system for the compensation of your faithfulness in the earth to God as a good ambassador.

Listen, many casual believer does not know that God is not a man that He should lie and what He promised is true and he will do it.

*Revelation 21:7 “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”* 

Pastor was talking about The Comer last week, and he talked about our soul now I tell you a man who can inherit the throne of God is someone who has overcome the lust in the soul and the vanity of the earth.

Let me take a little time to say this Hell is Real, the final destination of the unrighteous is the lake of fire not even hell both hell and death will be casted into the lake of Fire.

But the righteous will inherit Sonship which give them access to the throne of their Father who is God.

*“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8*  

Take your time to read this scripture again and think of your current status evaluate yourself but the path that strike me most is this 

*And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.*  

*And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.*  

*And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.*  

*And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  Revelation 20:12-15*

*PROPHESYING……………………* 

*Expose them! Expose Them!! Expose them!!!*

*You see you will be judged according to your works saith the spirit of the Lord, the time has Come for my throne (Judgment) to arise on the sons of disobedience who keep not my status and commandment*

*I come to expose unrighteousness, this is the season of unveiling of the true son who are obedient to me to dominate and expose them who are unfaithful to me thus sayeth the spirit of the Lord.*

Finally tonight *Revelation 22: 1-5*

*1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.   2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month:  and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.   3 And there shall be no more curse:  but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;  and his servants shall serve him:  4 And they shall see his face;  and his name shall be in their foreheads.   5 And there shall be no night there;  and they need no candle, neither light of the sun;  for the Lord God giveth them light:  and they shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 22: 1-5*

This is the endpoint of our inheritance where God begin to write His name upon our forehead based of the fruits we produced.

Now here is the dealing, you cannot produce a suitable fruit for the father with unrighteousness it cannot stand and here is why you need to cry for the purging of your soul 

Any fruit produced with unrighteousness gives the gain of death because every laborers will always receive their wages
